MEET THE JUDGES




RODRIGO MARIANO

Rodrigo Mariano is a Filipino-American film producer, director, and writer born and raised in Southeastern Connecticut. He is a QCFF alum: his film PROM ROCKS was selected in 2018 and his film BESTIE won Best Picture and Best Editing in the 2019. He is a 2021 New York Film Awards Finalist, and a 2021 Mystic Film Festival selected filmmaker. He graduated from Emerson College in 2023 and produced and directed numerous shorts during his time there. Professionally, he worked for Ryan Coogler at Proximity Media after his time at Jason Bateman's Aggregate Films. He also has a credit on Sony/Marvel's MADAME WEB, for which he spent half a year on the project. Based in Los Angeles, he is currently in the middle of producing features, while also working in talent management at Industry Entertainment. He is constantly pursuing a more diverse and inclusive entertainment industry.









JODEE CARUSO

Jodee Caruso is Head of Production for Atomic Kid Studios, an award winning production studio based in Milford that specializes in 2D and 3D animation, stop motion, live action videos and large-scale presentations.







LIAM BENNETT

Liam Bennett is the Founder & Owner of Solvis Media, a video production company located in New Haven, Connecticut. Over the last 5 years at Solvis, Liam has produced hundreds of corporate and commercial video projects for companies ranging from small startups to Fortune 100s.














SOPHIE MORGANSTERN

Sophie Morganstern is an Associate Producer at the Hartford Film Company, which specializes in the production of narrative films, commercials, and more. She is committed to providing opportunities and education for the next generation of filmmakers, teaching every summer at Real Art Ways' youth film apprenticeship Eye on Video.
